basically to cut a long story short I currently host a few small websites for different people which gather some traffic, but the traffic naturally depends on the sites.
However some one has asked me to help them set up and host a private server for a specific game. Research shows us that we'll be having around 250 - 300 players on the server most of the time it is live.
My question is does anyone know what sort of VPS package I would need to go for and whether or not it would be worth it over private reseller hosting packages?
I current spend around £20 on web hosting but I do have quite high bandwidth limits, but naturally running an online server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with constant players, updates etc... I want to know whether it would be much better to pay for a VPS package.
Any information or links to companies that offer a great service for a good price would be appreciated. Thank you in advance,

EDIT: Also I would be transferring my current websites over from the reseller hosting and putting them onto the VPS if I changed mu subscription plans!
