Reselling Web Hosting/Control Panels

Have any of you tried re-selling web hosting? If so who did you go with as the primary host?

Alternatively, can you recommend a free/commercial web hosting control panel?

Unless you're a web designer/developer/other computing services related and want to offer hosting as a value added service, I really wouldn't bother. There's so much competition these days it's ridiculous, and I really think the boat's been missed in regards to that business opportunity these days.

That's very true, I was mainly looking into it for experience to be honest rather than the money.
