Reserator 1plus and C2D

It appears that the Reserator comes with a Zalman ZM-WB4 GOLD CPU block. That block is listed as being compatible with LGA775. Even if you discovered that the block didn't fit, you could still just swap it for one that does fit and continue to use the rest of the system.

This is a Reserator 1+ block on a Gigabyte P965 DS4 - it barely holds an overclocked E6600 (3.6GHz) to 65C (full TAT load) on a warm day.

As far as I know Zalman use one mounting system for all their cooling devices, so if you have any Zalman S775 cooler, this will fit the bracket.

Quality - Thanks Walter. :)

You indeed are the Oracle!

I may be running a standard clock e6300 from it, so it should be just fine i reckon.

Strike down the sinner! You can't not clock an E6300 - it's a waste. You might as well buy a fast AMD chip as it'll be as quick :p .

They're not that fast at stock, but clocked up they do shine.

The rig isn't for me in the end - so it'll be stock for a mate who doesn't know too much.

If i'm honest I don't do any/much overclocking anyway...
