I was just wondering, while people say the reserator is weak in cooling, what kind of system it could run with htese parts: The Zalman Reserator 1 V2 + ZM-WB4 Gold CPU block, and ZM-GWB3 VGA block? Has anyone got these or have info about them?

I've got the Resorator 1 plus (chipset cooling) , its cooling a ATI 9800XT & Athlon 64 3000 & the southbridge. Max temp I've ever seen after hours of video decoding / playing counter strike is 42c for the CPU.

Bought it for £85 2nd hand , totaly silent :D

Yeah, I reckon the current CPUs are way less power consuming and heat less than my current athlon3000+ so I think that the reserator will be just good. And since it´s passive cooled there´s NO noise whatsoever?

Can't hear a thing from it ,best thing I've ever bought for a PC :)

Now I just need to silence my NAS unit :(

im looking at getting one of these very soon to cool my gpu and cpu. Hope its upto it. Currently have the Reserator1 which is doing a nice job and is silent

Ignore the pentium M thing, its actually a E6600. Just waiting on zalman northbridge block and i should get 3.5 out of it easy :)

default, i havnt played with it yet as its all brand new. P5W64 WS Pro, 2gb of ballistix pc5300 (kept it from previous setup due to handling high voltage and fsb) The mobo is getting a lot of rave reviews from people on xtreme forums for its clocking ability, specially as its a workstation board.

I have a Zalman Reserator 1 V2 cooling a Conroe E6600 + GeForce 7900GS, does a great job.

Even after hours of FEAR the temps were still lower than on conventional cooling. CPU ~48, GPU ~50

Oh, and its silent :D

I keep on getting the urge to put a delta fan in my kit to remind me of the good old days :D
