Sorry, couldn't change the size of the pics from work. Will try again another time.
Links only for now.
*Sorry for the size of the pics, I made them on a widescreen and was too tired to think that they may be too big, I can't change them from work*
Every morning on the way to work I drive past Weir Wood Reservoir and I always slow down for a better look. Unfortunately, the road is quite some way above the reservoir, not a great camera angle.
One day I saw sails at the far end, and after scrabbling through my map book I found that there was a road that went right up to the other side, to a sailing club and water treatment plant!
I set off in search of this road, hoping that from the other end of the water there would be a better vantage point for some photos.
However, on the way there I became worried that I would get lost, not find it at all, and waste the only evening I would get for a while in which I'd have a chance to take some sunset shots.
So I stopped at the Ashdown forest and took these (was up til 2am last night playing with them and cloning out the products of my dirty lens
):

And, true enough... I did get lost. But eventually I made my way to the water treatment plant, climbed a hundred steps and looked out across a very serene sight indeed.

In hindsight, I wish I had gone straight there, I reckon these would have looked wonderful with the sun just setting. Needless to say, I will be going back as soon as I can get another evening. Probably next weekend.
