Sorry, couldn't change the size of the pics from work. Will try again another time.

Links only for now.

*Sorry for the size of the pics, I made them on a widescreen and was too tired to think that they may be too big, I can't change them from work*

Every morning on the way to work I drive past Weir Wood Reservoir and I always slow down for a better look. Unfortunately, the road is quite some way above the reservoir, not a great camera angle.
One day I saw sails at the far end, and after scrabbling through my map book I found that there was a road that went right up to the other side, to a sailing club and water treatment plant!
I set off in search of this road, hoping that from the other end of the water there would be a better vantage point for some photos.

However, on the way there I became worried that I would get lost, not find it at all, and waste the only evening I would get for a while in which I'd have a chance to take some sunset shots.
So I stopped at the Ashdown forest and took these (was up til 2am last night playing with them and cloning out the products of my dirty lens :():

And, true enough... I did get lost. But eventually I made my way to the water treatment plant, climbed a hundred steps and looked out across a very serene sight indeed.

In hindsight, I wish I had gone straight there, I reckon these would have looked wonderful with the sun just setting. Needless to say, I will be going back as soon as I can get another evening. Probably next weekend.

Could you resize them down to around 800x600? They don't fit on my screen and its 1440px wide. The general forum size is 800x600 so it doesn't really break the look of the forum and everything fits in nicely.

I like the last two in particular, they are almost like transparency's, the glow is fantastic. But in the last shot my eye is drawn to the picnic bench on the left and the hunched figure on the right- an angler? perhaps cloning them out could improve the shot?

Surely you can just link to the files? lol.

/edit must have just missed the edit :D

Ah dammit! That git! :D There was a couple there when I was taking the pictures, he had a little P+S and was hunched down by the edge. I couldn't see him in the viewfinder it was so dark...
And yes, the table is an eyesore! I'll clone those out later, thanks for the critique! :)
