Install has only been in a week, but im getting patches on all sides of my reservoir for some reason. Im using the Mayhems blood red UV coolant, so could that be the dye??? Seems a bit patchy for dye
Definitely a solid matter rather than condensation.
Will get some up tomorrow eve. Certainly looks like dye, but id expect dye to slowly cloud the sides rather than how this is. The mayhems is meant to be pretty good in both aspects of discolouration and fungal growth, hence being confuzled. Will get some pics.
hmm thats not normal for blood red ( it looks to pinkish in pics). we've tested the blood red for long periods of time (it does stain over time) due to it being a deep colour but it should not show any signs of braking down. Was you system new when you bought it.
Allso why type of tubing are you using if you dont mind me asking.
Masterkleer does leech i will put £100 on that, as we've seen this happening may times. how ever it normally takes 4 to 5 days before you see any signs and not just a few hours.
What you should do is get a coffee filter, Pour your liquid though the filter and back into the the bottle so you can use it later. then when i say flush a system i mean put it on the main tap, run it for at least 1/2 hour and make sure you do not have the tap full on. just running nice and smoothly. When finished then flush though with Di water or Ultra pure, then put back together and add the pre-mixed liquid.
if it happens again let us know. If you think its the pre-mix (coolant) let me know and Keep a sample of the coolant, so that i make take it off you a test it out.
Cool. Will stick to that then. Oh and it seems that most of the colour has come out of the coolant now. Will see how it looks when i drain in. Have a little of the stuff in the bottle left to check against.
Bought some clearflex. Also got some of your Ultra Pure H20 Watercooling Fluid. Will let me see if i get any build up. The fluid will only be in there until i upgrade my graphics card so doesnt need to be pretty for now. Think ill put the kill coil in anyway this time.
Wish id planned how i was going to drain this. haha
