Reservoir making splashing noises

Occasionally I hear a splashing noise in my reservoir. However, I am hearing it a lot more frequently now.

I have the XSPC dual bay res for the D5 (not sold on OcUK anymore)

What could the cause of the noise be, and is it a problem?

It's one of these (except for the D5 pump)

Thats why we watercool isnt it ?
Its like sitting in the back yard listening to the waterfall running down to the Koi :D

At the back of the reservoir.

EDIT: The water level does look a little low, which is weird as I've not touched it for nearly a year.

That's totally normal. They lose about 10ml per month in my experience. I think of it as a sacrifice to the CPU god.

I personally wouldn't run more than a year without a full strip-down as stuff collects in things and I'm always amazed at what flushes out of the radiators.

I usually bottle-brush or replace the tubing too as it goes cloudy sometimes.

perfectly normal. happens with low coolant levels [so top it up] and a powerful pump

iirc you have a D5?

which will most likely be the cause.
