reset photoshop

i downloaded some text files a month or so ago but one of them have caused a problem now whenever i use the text tool so im wondering if anyone knows a way without uninstalling and installing as i really can't be bothred if there is any easier solution to it.

the problem with it is that when i select the text tool and then click on the space to tpye, the blinking cursor thing is huge, like 10 times bigger then the size i choose, so if its size 8, the blinking thing will be size 80, size 100, the thing will be like 1000.

Try this ;

Select the "Text tool"

Look to the top right corner of screen , for the T.

Right click on the T

And it will bring up as shown below ;

You can choose to reset just the text tool or all tools.

if its a corrupt font then you are stuck untill you find and remove.
