Was just checking if my ISP had upgraded the internet from 2mb to ADSLMax on the BT Speedtester, and it was logging my download speed at about 1800bps however my actual downloads were still the usual speed. I reset my router in case it hadn't updated to the new speeds, and now running the same test I get a download speed of just 200kbps. Any ideas?

If your modem's connected at 1800kbps, you'll have dropped to the 1500kbps profile.
What does the BT Speedtester say your IP profile is, and what's your modem connecting at?

Hmmph, spoke to the ISP and they said I should be on MaxDSL by now and to restart my router once or twice a day till it adjusted to the new speed. My router is now showing a downstream rate of 6272kbps and upstream of 448kbps which is a bit better. According to the BT Speedtester:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 5500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 6272 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 4975 kbps

I need to find a decent download site to confirm the results though as I'm not sure I'm getting any better performance from it.

that looks OK, sync speed and profile match, throughput would max out at 5280. So you're pretty close there :)
