Hi,
Firstly, here are the specs of my computer;

-Asus A8N5X nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - OEM
-Gigabyte GeForce 7800 GT 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) & Quake 4 Bundle - Retail
-Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 200GB 6L200P0 ATA-133 8MB Cache - OEM
-Pioneer DVR-111DBK 16 x 16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black) OEM
-Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case - 450W Smart Power PSU
-Gigabyte G-Power Pro (Socket A/754/939/478/775) Cooler
-Corsair 1GB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS2.5 Kit (2x512MB)

OK, The problem ;
I assembled all the parts, plugged in all wires and double checked everything.
I then started the computer and booted from the windows xp cd, installed Xp everything went fine, logged on to windows and it worked like any other brand new computer.
I then restarted the computer, it got to the part just before it says 'windows xp' and then reset itself and that's all it does now. I have tried safe mode and it starts to load the drivers/files and then resets :S
Can anybody help ?
Thanks :)

Did you install any drivers?

Sounds like it is an issue with the motherboard drivers.
Try reformatting and don't install the drivers and restart the pc a few times, then install them and see if it does it again.

Hi,
Thanks for your replies guys :)
I have got it working now, I was using a different operating system and it must have had some corrupt files on it.
I installed Windows Xp Pro on Sunday and updated the bios and motherboard drivers and it reboots fine now, I'm happy :D lol
Great comp as well, Runs Quake4 real smooth :D
Thanks

You might want to remove the reference to ripped software....
