Resetting CPU and GPU overclocks to factory defaults

Hi all,

It's been *a long* time since I've been on the forum but finally I've dragged my gaming rig out of storage and set it up. I seem to recall having a go at overclocking the CPU and possibly the GPU and getting some instability due to my lack of experience. Can anyone guide me on how to reset the CPU and GPU to factory defaults? I have the following:

Intel i7-4790K
Nvidia GTX980 Ti

Depends how you did it
Hardware or software
For cpu probably reset bios to defaults
Unless you used software overclocking if so
Should have reset to defaults option

For gpu you probably used afterburner
Or the gpu manufacturers software
Those will have a reset to defaults option in them

In the bios load default settings will take everything back to stock, you'll probably need to set boot priority order to the windows drive as 1st boot.

GPU if you Overclocked that threw windowsthen it will still load as per software used which is easy to change .
