every so often a game will run in really low fps, i assume this is because there is still stuff left in the memory or cache, is there a way to reset the gfx card so it doesn't give me low fps?
 
It normally occurs when im switching games, so like, cod4, to bf2, to gmod, then back to cod4 and cod4 will be ultra laggy etc, which is why im wondering if its some game code being left in the gfx card
