Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica are to be re-released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, it has been revealed.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Andriasang) has confirmed that Capcom will be packaged on a compilation disc titled Resident Evil Survival Selection.

Although no new features were mentioned, both titles will be remastered in HD while Resident Evil 4 will receive PS2 and Wii bonus chapter Separate Ways.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica was originally released on Dreamcast in 2000, while Resident Evil 4 debuted on GameCube in 2005.

Last year, Capcom said it was hoping to release a sixth game in the series "as soon as possible". A fifth motion picture is also in development for September 2012.

Would love to see Code Veronica remade like the first Resi Evil game was for the Gamecube but it looks like both will just be getting the HD graphics treatment

Surprised they're not giving Resi Evil 0 the HD treatment as well tbh, IIRC its only ever been released for the GC so I'm sure theres plenty that have yet to play it

EDIT: maybe it will come at a later stage along with an HD version of the GC version of Resi Evil.....

Anyone played the Resi Evil remake and Resi Evil 0 on the wii? Fancy playing both again but I don't have my GC anymore, how do they fair in terms of graphics compaired to the GC versions? Can they be played normally without the motion controls?
