Well i remember it was one of the scariest game i played along with silent hill 1

i heard they made a remake probably long time ago to but for what console was it ? anyone ?

it was a great remake aswell. i thought the controls were a little awkward, though.

edit: the fast zombies were a shocker, lol. i did a 360 and went out the same door in a panic

In my opinion it really showed that the gamecube could do more than just make mario and other cute characters look less pixally.

It was a fantastic game and it was more than a very pretty port, i still play it from time to time now on my wii

Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1 on the Gamecube are both excellent games.

Definately worth getting your hands on a cheap gamecube for them.

Great game the Resi Evil Remake especially for someone who never played it first time around on the Playstation

I thought Resi Evil Zero was a brilliant game as well, still to this day I keep thinking about hooking up the old Gamecube to finish it. It's because I've never finished it as to why I've got a mint copy of Resi Evil 4 still untouched as well

it was a good game - and fitted the gamecubes capabilities well

it also gave gamecube users a more mature title option that was lacking before

the camera was a bit... sorry, a lot rubbish
but other than that i enjoyed the remake

made me realise why i like resi so much

Mmm, the bit where the 'right hand' chases you was pretty damn scary. Though I confess, not exactly 'crimson head getting up when trying to set him on fire' scary

Resi 4 was light years better than Resi 3, no matter what style of game you liked. I thought number 3 was very poor. Remains the only RE game I have never completed.

Resident Evil is my second favortie gaming franchise next to Metal Gear and God of War. The remake of resi 1 looked amazing on the gamecube.
