Oh my, looks great. January 25th release date.

No pre rendered backgrounds and no fixed cameras though.

Supposedly it does have an option for fixed cameras. It’s playable at E3 so I guess we need to wait for impressions.

Fixed cameras are a must though, well i'll buy it either way so it's not a must must, but i'd prefer it.

God I remember getting a US import of this for my PlayStation and doing the disc swap technique to get it to work. One of my all time favourite games!

I did exactly the same

The only thing I have an issue with are the faces. They need tweaking imo.

Are there any ways of playing the original RE2? I don't think I know where my original PS even is these days!

Ah through the powers of Google, I've just had a look and there seems to be a variety. Might have to see if I can pinch a Dreamcast copy as that's supposedly the best version graphically.

I'll play it! Do wish they stuck to the original style rather that the over the shoulder but I'll take it. Happy they didn't try and go first person like RE7
