Resident evil 2

Ok this is probably a long shot but I really fancy playing resident evil 2 again as I never completed it when I was a kid. I was wondering if the game can be modded and if so does anyone know any good mods? I would really like a higher quality texture mod lol and it's looking abit dated now lol.

You'll be lucky to get it working on modern operating systems let alone mod it, highly doubt there are any made.

got the pc version of RE2 running recently with little difficulty in win7. the models looked pixely and horrible but it ran. you'd probably be better off getting a console version of it if you can. it was on playstation then ported to dreamcast and game cube. Im sure they all looked better than the pixely mess i saw on pc lol.

You can just get the PCSX emulator and emulate it.

Still gonna be pixel and block world but yeah, still a good game.

The PCSX2 emulator is pretty cool, you can force 1080p and AA on Gran Turismo A-Spec if you have a beast system, honestly looks epic

But its still not the right game.

@OP, If you treat it as what it is, an old game then youll just be able to enjoy it tbh. Theres been a few mods come and go in recent years but nothing thats either been finished or is any good. I cant help with if it will even run on modern OS's though as i dont own it on the PC in afraid.

If you have a PS3 then its available on PSN but dont be fooled by the 'improved graphics' that the PS3 offers PS1 games
