Having bypassed this for reasons unknown when released way back when i purchased for the ps3.
No joking it's the best game i've played for YEARS. There's a constant threat of doom and it stinks of quality, buy it.

It's great. They could have done a better job updating some of the textures and stuff but it doesn't look bad at all

I have the PS3 version - it isn't the best HD conversion, but the game is still fantastic. Miles better than 5 for sure. I've yet to play 6 so can't judge it against that.

Great game, I have it on PS3 and I have the Wii edition. Got to say, the Wii edition plays better than playing with a normal controller; probably just personal preference but it felt way more natural than the ps3 version felt.

I was looking to buy this for ages and was so happy I held off until it was on offer. Still an incredible game, probably in my top 5 of all time. Even though the HD remake doesn't look the best, the game still reeks of quality and is easily the best Resi game I've ever played. Was worth the whole amount of points, never mind the sale price!

I'm always torn on this. The Wii controls are brilliant, but they make the game a little too easy at the same time.

That said, this thread has made me start playing the Wii version again. Was thinking of doing a No Merchant run for the challenge, but I couldn't even manage the opening village without dying . Think I need a bit of practice.

Still debating over this, its still pricey (I know its just been on sale but I don't have xbox live)

Really regret not getting it in last years Halloween sale but I missed it by the time I got in from work! I was hoping it would be in this years halloween sale but no luck.

I also have it on gamecube but want to play it on the big tv, my gamecube doesn't play nice on lcd's for some reasons.

It's a decent port of the game, I'd say it is worth it I paid full price for both that and CV.

gave in and bought it, was well worth it!

Won't be doing the same with Code Veronica I doubt as my dreamcast and game plays nice with lcd.
