Resident Evil 4 - Wii

im loving it. great fun hacking slashing booting and shooting.it does look a little ropey on my lcd but its forgivable because the game is so damn fun.

Looks swanky on mine. The extra resolution from 576i helps a lot compared to 1080p imo.
 
Got RE4 a couple of days ago and I to am impressed. I'm running it on a 1080p 55" RP TV at 480P and it looks decent enough, few jaggies and the textures are a bit blury but other than that it's great.

Does anyone else get black borders either side of the image when running at 480p? It's the first Wii game I've played that's had borders.
 
Was looking at sales figures for this game to post on another thread and noticed this:

It is currently NUMBER 1 in the Wii Chart:

Taking into account that top 5 consists of 2 movie licenses which traditionally sell well, even if they are poo and Brain Training, it makes the number 5 slot look even better.

Any guesses who is buying the game?

I would have thought mainly "Core" gamers who played the original series but maybe its getting some new people playing too?

Ive never played any RE games before so I fall into the "Never Played" category.. guess this answers my question?

I never played any RE games before RE4 on the GC.
Didnt like the concept behind them. Played Res4, reluctantly, and loved it. Its one of the best games ive ever played.
Definatelly up there with OoT and DX1 for me.
