I read the PS3 version of RE5 suffers from framerate issues. Does installing the move patch fix these frame rate issues?

Never had problems with RE5, been meaning to pick up the gold edition for Move but already finsihed the game so not at the top of my list of games to get.

What is the Move like on this? Worth rebuying (only £8) to play with Move?

It also has the dlc, I don’t know if I would say that its worth it.

My only problem with the move edition is that the courser isn’t always on screen, in the wii edition of re4 the courser was always on screen so when you went to aim you know where it would pop up no suck luck with re5 :(

Never had any issues with the framerate for this game either. I think it's all nonsense and there's barely any difference between the 360 and PS3 versions anyway.

For £8 with the extra DLC chapters, new character Mercenaries mode and Move support all on one disc, I would say the Gold Edition is definitely worth it. If you regularly play co-op and enjoy this game, it's a no brainer.

I have Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition on the PS3 and i've not seen any frame rate hiccups at all. The game runs silky smooth and the graphics are excellent.
