resident evil 5 worth getting?

As title says , can get it for £15 - pre owned but ive never played RE before

I just got it yesterday for £15 as well. I'd say it's worth getting at that price. It's not like the old resident evil games(only like 4) but since you haven't played any of them before thats not much of a issue.

Yes - well worth getting. True that it's not like the earlier games (bar RE4), but it's still a very good game.

decent enough, but you can pick dead space up for similar/less, and thats a far better game.

Yes, definately pick it up at that price, Dead space is similar in price but no where near as good as RE5.

It's the first Resident Evil I've completed. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would say get the first 3 but they haven't aged very well and play really bad. You really had to play the first Resi games when the first came out to really get into them and enjoy them.

Get Resi 4 for the Wii if you can, much better than 5.

Thought it was rubbish, the shooting feels so weak and fiddly.

Deserved no more than average reviews, only good thing about it was the cut-scenes, now they were well done.

Awesome game in co-op! Well online co-op, local is a bit annoying as player 2 can't spend money.

Can't agree - the shooting was fine.

Too many people compare this to the first few games & get really disappointed, but the fact is that it's a very good game on it's own.

I love the originals, but have played them again (quite recently), and apart from the brilliant stories & horror feel, they play like ****!

Co-op was great fun, worth getting for that. Single player was good aswell.

It really annoyed me, The amount of times it would pop up saying game over because that stupid bitch had wandered off and died again just wasn't fun

I think you'll get mixed reactions to this.
Personally,I wouldn't recommend it.I enjoyed RE4 but didn't like this at all.Simply due to the controls.Not being able to move and shoot is very annoying when you have a lot of fast moving enemies coming towards you!

The single player ai is pretty poor, that silly cow gets in your way more than she helps. Online with a friend it's great fun though
