Just got this game and am pleased to see its a Nvidia TWIMTBP title so im expecting some healthy competition from our green friends sporting 670's/680's and in fact expecting to lose. So get posting your benchmarks. Highest quality settings (very high quality) at 1080p/1440p plox.

I visit gamegpu for accurate and reliable benches and their results are taken fron 26th Feb so it will be interesting to see if things have change from then or if Nvidia still have the highest performance in this title at the 680/670/7970/7950 level.

I scored about the same as wazza at stock clocks. I have to say im disappointed with the graphics, i see now why the game only cost me £12 to buy. Still it runs pretty well and if the co-op is fun to play then ill be happy.

Think ill be running this game at stock speeds as it runs fast even at the highest settings on stock.

Scored about 11.5k when I tested it last month using older drivers and CCC limited clocks that I generally use for videos.

Might try with newer drivers and overclocked past CCC limits at a later time.

Link included with above video.

Performance is down on the newer AMD drivers as far as i can see but the game is not at all demanding.

Have they removed all the gun upgrades you could do? That was my favourite part of RE5. I notice you can buy general upgrades but not weapon specific etc. This seems a step back from RE5 imo.

Yes this was also one of my favorite things about RE4/5. The skill points system is a lot less fun to use than gradually turning a pea shooter into a handcannon.

I played through all 4 chapters of two characters and clocked one of them and this one is for fans only I think. There were some enjoyable moments and although the textures are not great the models are pretty impressive, but they have taken a step in the wrong direction with this multiple campaign thing as it gets very frustrating at times.

Agreed. I played a bit of co-op with my friend and it seems like good fun even if the game and graphics are rather basic. The weapon system and upgrades will be sorely missed and for me means that this game will have very little replay value. However it only cost £12 so i guess that makes up for it. Roll on Resident Evil 6.

I've got a 7970 and a 680 at the moment.

HD7970 - 1050MHz / 1500MHz - Score 10828
GTX680 - Boost to 1202MHz/3105MHz - score 12148

Fraid I did seem some stutter on the 7970.

Strange i didn't find any stutter at all, my gpu usage never went over 60% i don't think either such little strain is put on the gpu.

EDIT

Actually your 7970 score looks low compared to mine and wazza's.

that's what I got 3770k @4.6ghz and 7970@1050/1500

no stutter from me either:eek::p

After searching through the steam forums this game is only DX9, has no ambient occlusion, worse textures than aliens colonial marines and a rather large video memory leak bug. Capcom what have you done to this once great game.

I only liked the first ones,i think they should go back to that format, the newer ones arnt bad but you don't feel alone like you did in the first games on ps2

I never played the 4th one unfortunately. RE5 was my first. Even that was DX10 and had some nice effects and graphics. (at the time) Not sure how they have managed to regress.
