Resident Evil 6

Looks good, more like RE2+3 and less like 4+5

No it doesn't, it's like a replica of RE5 but instead of African's they're Zombies and instead of being in Africa it's in a city. Now don't get me wrong, I liked RE5, but that was only made able by disconnecting it from the earlier games. Third Person Shooter Resident Evil games will never be Survival Horror.

It actually has zombies instead of Las Plagas guys, so thats an immediate plus in my books.

Hope it's more difficult like 4 was. RE5 scariest parts was the quick time events - for some reason I felt compelled to miss the button presses...freaky.

Also what was wrong with Las Plagas, the sprouting heads was a great touch, although the flash bang ruined it quite a lot.

i hate how they switched the controls on the retry, so i ready up on A+D but notice it said F+V after i start tapping way, then next try i ready on the F+V and it pops up with A+D

Looks good but definitely lost it's resident evil charm, the last one I played was Code Veronica on the DC and that was amazing, very eery and atmospheric, this looks like an action film but will buy it nonetheless.

i do miss the old RE fixed cam but its been a long time, if they brought it back now i don't think i could get used to it again

Was quite excited by the start of the trailer, having real zombies back and in the city. Then the whole gears of evil thing started and I've lost all excitement for it again.

We've gone from a survival horror game which we don't get many of these days to what seems to be a third person shooter in a market already flooded with shooters. Hopefully its just the trailer trying to be exciting but I don't hold out much hope.

It is a shame that you do not get an option to switch between third person and fixed camera modes. I don't think a game that played too much like the very first Resi games would have too much mass appeal to modern console gamers.

Long wait, hope it's worth it, suprised so many didn't like RE5, I loved it. My biggest dissapointmoint was playing RE4 on the PC, quality was disgraceful.

What's with the way point markers, it takes half the fun and exploration out of the game. Are gamers that stupid these days they need way points to show them where to go. Linear game is linear.
