Resident Evil 7 Soon ;) cant wait..... :)

After the I found 5,6 a massive let down I'm holding out for reviews, don't get me wrong early impressions of 7 have been great but it's easy to show off best bits of games
 
Same here, but i'll be PSVRing it. Rooms that I walked through in under a minute take me 10 minutes to get through in VR - getting up close to everything, looking at the details - and leaning just my head into corridors so I can quickly get back behind cover. It's going to be brown trousers time!
 
I don't have any left after playing through until dawn.


So I'll have to risk it without :D

Put it this way, I wimped out playing outlast and couldn't finish it lol.
 
You're missing VR!

I wasn't going to get this but after playing the demo in VR it's a day one for me. So good! The different ways to finish the demo piqued my interest.

As an aside it seems totally different from 5 and 6 which is a good thing in my book.

i tried the demo in VR and on a TV, a tv isn't going to do it justice no matter how good a tv it is, VR all the way with this one!

anyone getting the 4d resident evil candle to go with it?
 
Tried the first hour taster, and moments in it were proper trouser-change-needed.

But to actually do it fully - to complete it - you really have to watch the tutorials on it, as otherwise there is no way in hell you'd know to do some of the things that you have to do to advance like:

Spinning the hand thing around to point at random bags and places in the house to detect the bodies. If it was an instantanous 'reveal' when doing so, maybe you would, but you have to spin it and then wait for a few moments until it's registered that you're pointing at the right spot! Not something you'd do for all those spots unless you knew you had to. Perhaps it's to do with having needed to play the previous games?

That's not the way to complete it, that's like a hidden Easter egg ending.
 
shall wait till it's sub £20, although it was ok but to me it's just not resident evil anymore but rather just another generic horror game.
