Resident Evil : Infinite Darkness (Netflix)

One of the few shows I am looking forward to. This and Foundation.

These days nothing grabs me, they seem either same old same old, cheesy or trying to hard to be politically correct.

Still not watched this. I had it on for 5 minutes and it looked rubbish. Don’t get why they insist on using the timeline set in the cgi movies. Do a reboot and go to the damn start.

Yeah its not great and not a massive amount of action. I preferred the older CG movies to be honest, that said i quite liked Vendetta. I did notice however that there were some scenes in Infinite Darkness that were pulled straight from RE6. The white house bits were obviously a precursor to RE6 Leon arc and there are scenes in China that were definitely out of the Chris arc.

Yeah. Lets use the story and scenes from the worst RE game ever made. Genius :p

I want to see a reboot starting from the beginning. For me it all went downhill after Code Veronica both story and game wise. There are RE books, maybe they should use those as a tv show.

I actually quite liked the Leon part and the latter part of the Chris mission in the under sea lab. The rest was pretty terrible though.

What? RE4 was the pinnacle of RE in my opinion. Admittedly it went from the T/G-Virus to the Las Plagas but it was a great game and great story. There is only so much you can do with shambling zombies and the odd other BOW without it becoming stale, introducing the Las Plagas allowed for some great mutations.

I would love to see a new game that has all of the RE virus variants, T/G Virus, Las Plagas, Progenitor and Mould in some form or another.

Las Plagas the pinnacle? Lol. That is where it started to go downhill.

Fair enough each to their own. I i thought that the mutations that Las Plagas bought were much more fun, entertaining and grotesque than the T-Virus.

To me the T-Virus/G-Virus is Resident Evil :D

As you say, each to their own. But RE4 should have been a different franchise, as it feels like a completely different game to me. Great game, but not very Resident Evil.
