I know some arnt the biggest Nintendo fans on here :p

While i am a bit sceptical, this is all meant to be footage from the game running on the 3DS hardware

I'm not normally a fan of Nintendo. I never had a SNES or a 64, or even a DS, but the 3DS is something that interests me. The rumoured hardware is definitely something that is able to produce more grown up games and that interests me.

I'm a big fan of all things Resident Evil pre-RE4 so the return of proper zombies is a welcome one for me, I think they are far more scary than the stupid Las Plagas Ganados and the Majini. It'd be good to have some in game footage in this thread. :)

Will wait to see some proper screens in the near future (hopefully) to see what the 3DS is capable of.

Yeah this was a new game/tech-demo for the 3DS at E3, just like how the Metal Gear Solid 3 "The Naked Sample" demo was.

Whilst cutscenes always look great as a technical showpiece, it's once actual gameplay starts showing up where we can really gauge how it truely looks.

It's a work in progress, so we'll have to wait and see what the future holds for this.

I think what I've seen so far of the 3DS, I've been very impressed. I was especially impressed with some of the 3rd party offerings too.

There was a list in the 3DS thread that made me quite excited at the prospect of one of these. I might but £300 aside for one of these and some games for when it's released. I'm more of a Sony fan myself and if I end up buying the 3DS then I won't be able to afford a PSP2 when it eventually makes it's way out. That said though, I only turned my nose up at the original DS because most of the games made me think it was for 10 year olds and housewives. This however looks like it could be offering me much more grown up type games.

The inclusion of an analogue nub and the apparent powerful hardware are giving it big pluses in my book. Not to mention Nintendo saying that they are looking at some kind of free Internet service like the Amazon Kindle gets, really exciting stuff for me. If this is as powerful as they claim, which should be around the Gamecube graphically, then I'll be really, really impressed. I know it's a long shot, but a remake of Metal Gear Solid 2 wouldn't go amiss. :)
