Hey guys

Anyone got this then? Came out today

Been interested in it a while, but not so sure about the whole on rails thing

And as usual I often go by peoples opinions on here of games before I buy them. So if anyone has it, can they give it a review please. Would be much appreciated

Cheers

Been interested in this too for some time. Thinking of getting the Zapper and maybe one of those funkier looking 2in1 peripherals for it as well...

its quite good fun but there is the problem of it not being a real light gun, you have to be aiming at the screen all the time. Its a bit like a cross between a light gun game and a mouse controlled game. Still its got lovely graphics and it made me really look forward to the release of the house of the dead series. Ill defintely play it all the way through, the co-op looks to be the killer for it.

The real zapper aint out yet is it ?

Got this yesterday, a lot of fun but a couple of niggles. Firstly the dodge system is very unresponsive compared to resi evil 4 on the wii, it just seems to be pot luck when it works, which is very frustrating on a boss fight.

How do you unlock the resi evil 3 chapter for 2 player, me and me mate done 0-2 but 3 never became available only a couple of extra single player missions per chapter, do these all have to be completed first?

So this game, What is it? I've looked at the trailer and still can't tell.

is it a remake for the first 3? With a Res 4 makeover? So it uses the Wii controller?

Or is it a total new game?

From what I can tell as I've only ever played resi evil 4 and a bit of 1 you play through the key parts of 0-3 in a 1-2 player game, then there are alternative stories/fill ins for single player where you get to see another part of the resident evil story you didn't previously know about.

Its an 'on-rail' game so effectively think virtua cop/house of the dead style play and you use the wiimote to point and shoot.

I may just be cack, but find 'normal' incredibly hard on single player, especially against the bosses, but 2 player works well. As I said above the reaction tests where you have to press buttons/wave wiimote to avoid attacks/set pieces do not seem to be as responsive as RE4 and are pot luck on when the cpu says you done it in time/correctly.

tempted to get this for me and the GF as she seems interested in it, not sure wether to rent it first to see how we get along with it
