About time AMD tried to grab a market share. They fumbled with the 7900xt/xtx launch price if you ask me.

Yep priced too high at launch, XT and XTX is selling like crazy at moment, but very limited stocks left.

@Gibbo how are restocks looking better than what Nvidia have on the Horizons?

We literally have around 2000 units from Sapphire in stock, 1000 from Powercolor and 1000 from Asrock, I feel stock will be fine for a few days.

MSRP is capped quantity of a few hundred, so prices will jump once those are sold through.

Re-stocks and pricing is unknown going forward, nobody really knows what April will bring due to instability in world with USA starting to rage a trade war, we are all hopeful it won't impact computer stuff, but who knows.

Pulse price is good. Reaper too. I notice the Steel Legend is now £570. What are Asrock cards like? My Taichi mobo has been rock solid for 5 years (other than some bios issues when it first came out) but I have no experience with their GPUs.

Asrock are truly fantastic cards engineering and quality wise.

Not to get people's hopes up but as Asrock don't have like an entry level card as such, they can only offer this MSRP on this SKU for a maximum of 10 units, sorry to be bearer of bad news but they will be near impossible to get one, once those 10 sell out the price will go up to £649.99

Why I don't like the MSRP game for small quantities, its miss leading, but we don't set it and FYI our landed cost on those is over £600, so it is not even a case that our margin requirement is too high.

Sapphire Pulse and Powercolor Reaper have far larger volumes for MSRP SKU's

@Gibbo once I get a card in the basket is it held for a minute or two or is there a chance it's gone before I finish the checkout?

Basket is live, so if someone else beats you to it, the basket will kick you out.

We implemented this method simply to prevent over selling, yes it is annoying to be kicked out, but it is even more annoying if your order goes through and paid, then you find out the stock oversold and you aint getting one.

So in short if the check out boots you out, then that stock or batch of stock has sold out, of course keep checking the site as we have loads of 9070 shipments due tomorrow and over coming days, so though we have 1000's in stock we have about another 3000 units en-route also.

Because the retailer paid more for them than MSRP, so once they hit the limit that AMD will subsidise them for the price moves to the actual cost.

So the second batch will be sold at MSRP then because pricing is known and they can factor in profit and still got MSRP.
