Hello there

I'm after a piece of software (preferably free) that will allow a user to select multiple images, and have the program scale (read: not crop) them to fit onto a single A4 page etc...

I understand that XP has this function from 'right clicking / print' menu...however this seems to be cropping the images...

Does anyone know of a freeware program that will allow the same function but not crop?

Cheers :)

Are they for printing? In the print menu there should be an option to scale and not crop (I think crop is default).

And Irfanview will do batches, however you won't need to resize them if you can find the above option.

Its basically so an Art teacher can give out images, but instead of printing loads of A4 pages of one image she wants to have four on one page...but the print context menu in explorer crops them in XP

I'll have a look, but nothing stuck out

I don't have access to an XP box but when you try to print multiple pictures on W7 there is a check box that says "Fit picture to frame" - if this is checked it will zoom and crop. Unchecked it scales the picture instead.

Sorry I can't be more specific but there must be an equivalent option on XP surely.

No thats fine :) I know exactly what you mean as my PC at work is Windows 7...however the XP one just seems to crop it :p
