I can't remember the name of the software but I'm sure I've done this before.

C and D drive are on the same physical disk, so it should just be a case of shrinking D and then increasing C, right?

The only snag I seem to recall with this software (that I can't for the life of me remember the name of) was that the freshly unallocated space (after shrinking) had to be larger than the newly resized D partition. Is this just how the file system works or was it a limitation to the software?

I simply just want to take 50GB off D and add it onto C. I would prefer not to have to shrink the D drive massively, just to account for the partition adjustment. Hope this makes sense.

Any help appreciated.
