Resize Windows Partition

Whats the best software to allow me to expand me windows partition.

The Disk has 50gig c drive-200 gig games drive-and another 250 unallocated.

I seem to remember there is an issue if the unallocated space is not next to the c drive?

I want another 25ish on c and the rest to add to the games drive.

I used the Paragon partition manager boot disk to do exactly this (not free though). It took a while, but I just set it off and left it over night. Worked a treat.

I'm sure there will be an open source equivalent somewhere. Don't forget to back up any data. I had no issues with mine, but there is no guarantee.

Easeus Partition Manager will be able to resize it for you, and it's free for home use as well.

edit: damn the home edition of Easeus doesn't support 64bit os, need the pro version for 64 bit -.-

You'll need to do it from the boot disk, outside of the Windows environment, so OS version won't matter. Unless of course you need to install it to create the boot disk....

Thinking aout it, why don't you try Gparted:

Totally free. I've not used it, but it should do what you need it to do.

Parted Magic - which contains gParted and a few other useful utilities...you can also have a look at the Partition/HDD Backup/Management section...
