Resolution issues!

Can someone give some advice as to what i can rectify this with please?

The minimize/restore/close buttons, are not as they should be, and i can't find out why.
I have tried downloading all the drivers for the graphics card, etc, no luck.

I'm guessing this is going to be something simple, and quite embaressing :rolleyes:

Did you try getting any drivers or something for the monitor? Or click the auto adjust button on your monitor maybe?

The monitor is a fujitsu siemens p15-1, and i can't find any thing of any use on their site!

I got something similar on an nVidia card once when it didn't install the drivers properly so I couldn't go above the safe VGA resolutions. A clean (driver cleaner) and reinstall fixed it for me. Or try unhiding the modes the Monitor doesn't "support".

Try reinstalling the driver and let us know if it fixes it

Unless I'm missing something it looks like you have Aero disabled?

"Personalize" -> "Window Colour and Appearance" -> "More Colour Options" -> Click "Windows Aero" instead of "Windows Vista Basic"
