Didn't know where to post this as it could be monitor related, could be graphics card related, or could be software related.

I've got my Dell ST2410 plugged into my Radeon HD 6870 via HDMI and it's max resolution is 1920x1080 but when i change to that, within catalyst it shows it as a HDTV and not a basic resolution.

Due to that, i have to keep going onto the 3D tab (where AA and AF is located) to and change the scaling options EVERY time i turn my computer on as it's not filling my whole screen space.

It's not a HDTV, it's a 24" monitor, so can someone shed some light on this matter please?

Thanks,

Andy

Works fine with a DVI connection.

I have to set it to 0% overscan EVERY time i turn the computer on, to fill the whole screen, getting quite annoying now :(

Hhhm strange even if it is showing as 1080p it should still be full size as 1080 p is 1920 x 1080.

Maybe I'm missing something but why not just select 1080p at 60hz and be done with it?

I have but still have to constantly change the scaling to 0%
