Resolution query..

I own a 30 inch hdtv which is 2 years old and doesn't support 1080p. Having read various discussions, I am unsure as to which resolution to use for Xbox 360/PS3. Is 720p or 1080i the better choice graphically or is there literally no difference between the two? any advice appreciated.

Whichever displays better on your TV really, though 720p is arguably the best to use.
