I'm looking at setting up a Triple Head 2 Go unit but would ideally like to use higher resolution monitors for when I'm not using it via the second output of the graphics card.

E.g. 3 x 20" such as the Samsung 204B, Viewsonic 20" model or the Dell, all of which are obviously 1600x1200.

How well do they upscale a 1280x1024 image (from the TH2Go) to their native 1600x1200?

Any pictures of what a 1280x1024 desktop looks like on a 1600x1200 native screen?

Cheers.

It'll be stretched since 1600x1200 is 4:3 and 1280x1024 is 5:4....I'd personally use 1024x768 to preserve the aspect ratio (this will also boost performance at daft resolutions). Are you planning to run native over 1 input and triplehead over another?

I'd run the TH2Go on one output to the three and use the second output to run DVI to the centre monitor at 1600x1200, that way I can just switch back and fore since, afaik the TH2Go only passes through 1280x1024 maximum when 'disabled'

I'd just prefer to have the higher resolution/better dot pitch of a 1600x1200 for future use and for cases where I can't use the TH2Go.
