Resolution scaling

Morning all,

Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but it could potentially go in games, monitors etc ..

So, what I would like to know is having a 4k res with a lower resolution scale, say 80% better than 1080p with higher % scale, maybe equal to 4k output whatever % that would be.

Both really, as I use my PC on my OLED (living room) and then in the office on a 1080p 144hz. I'm just interested to know I guess in each scenario as I can obviously run 1080p on the OLED if I wish.
