Resolution

Installing the driver would have automatically created a restore point. Type rstrui into the search box and press enter.

Select the option to "Choose a different restore Point". Look the ought he history to the point where the restore point was created. Select that and follow instructions. Restart will be necessary.

If the old drivers work, then don't bother with the new :)

bit stupid but have you restarted your PC? sometimes it doesnt prompt you to but is required. Happened to me the other day updating to cat 11.5

I've tried everything. I thinks its something I have done :/ would it be my gpu because i can still play games but like the resoulution i have to play makes it look bad.

Are they listed in Control Panel under Programs as installed? and when selecting the monitor tab/resolution option after right clicking on your desktop and 1440x900 isn't there?

I know you said you did the way Admiral Huddy said but did you tick the clean installation box when installing?

You could try re-inserting the card then re-installing them.(make sure previous driver folders aren't in NVIDIA folder too.)

You do not need to use driver sweeper at all.

Go control panel uninstall Nvidia drivers there, reboot, install latest 275.33, tick clean installation(if it fails then dont tick it and install) and reboot then it should be fine.

If it still happens then something is probably either conflicting with the driver or the pci-express slot might be buggered.(can also be other things but these 2 most likely)
