Resolved a Problem I had with my Dell 2407WFP - choppiness. Just posting about it.

I was experiencing some bad choppiness in games, but I couldn't figure out what was causing it because my FPS was always at 60 (Vsync).

Anyway, a friend recommended I set the mouse pointer settings to the 6th notch in the control panel and de-select any pointer precision options; this made no difference to the choppiness but it did improve the mouse on the desktop for me.

Then I figured, what if it's something to do with the mouse but something different...

And then I realised: my mouse is hooked up to the Dell's USB HUB (connected to the pc via a USB wire itself), and I thought that maybe the distance would cause mouse lag.

I was right, and I put my USB mouse directly into the motherboard USB hub instead. I now no longer - fingers crossed - get choppiness in games.

Just posting this in case anyone else has the same issue.

Regards,
Brian.
