Hi
a friend of mine has;
- a TV in the living room, where the Sky Q box is connected via HDMI splitter box
- a TV in the kitchen, where there's a Sky Q mini box connected via same HDMI splitter box but has HDMI to Cat 6 to HDMI. He's tired just using a very long HDMI cable but the delay in this room is even greater.
Is there a device that can be used to cause a delay in a HDMI signal to delay the TV in the living room so it's the same as it is in the Kitchen?
I've already suggested using a longer HDMI cable for the living room to generate a delay.
This issue seems quite common for Sky Q and they didn't have this issue with Virgin Media.
Any other suggestions to resolve the delay... I suggested that he knock the wall though as the rooms are next to each other and the TV in the living room is massive enough to view from the kitchen.. lol...
