Hi there

Im starting 6th form in the next few weeks and was wondering if you good people could help me with what resources to get for 6th form, revision guides, notes and journals etc and what else you'd recommend.

Im studying chemistry, biology, maths and geography.

I didn't do those courses so I couldn't tell you, In my experience bookwise it was always best to ask the teacher as you'll be learning the subject somewhat to their method so they should know the books most relevant to what you want. I'm sure someone will come along that can suggest a rough guideline though :).

for chemistry and biology, for the aqa syllabus at least, the collins revision guides were the best. I'm not 100% sure that they do guides for other boards, or if they are out for the new syllabus.

you don't need them until exams come 'round though

Tbh, I don't think you'll need anything else for Geography other than the resources provided by your college. It's not overly complicated in the first year and the internet will only confuse you. (I got an A somehow).

I oppose that opinion. I got my revision guides ASAP, they were great to recap all the stuff you learnt in a lesson, and in many cases, helped to explain things which I couldn't understand as they took a different viewpoint. Get your revision guides ASAP, you will be glad you did!
