Response time?

How much does it matter? I have about £200 to spend on a monitor, so no G24.

I'm considering the samsung 23" with 2048*1152, 20000:1 and 5ms- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-101-SA

However I'm wondering whether I'd see any benefit from upgrading to the dell equivalent, which is unfortunately not available at OcUk, for £220 with 2048*1152 res, 80000:1 and 2ms?

Anything under 7-8ms is absolutely fine, so go with the one with the best reviews or that you like the looks of better.

Hmm, I'm having a tough time deciding between the matte of the samsung and the gloss of the dell. Any tips?

Well, personally I hate glossy panels - even in fairly dimly lit rooms I find the reflections annoying.

One of the reasons I sent back my Hazro (I was one of the people who had the original one which was matte, and was then upgraded to the glossy one).

The dell has just been reduced to £200 direct from the maker. Hdmi + a mic mean that £25 isn't a huge price increase...
