response times

Looking to get a new monitor for gaming primarily and wondered if I would actually notice much difference between a 5ms and 2ms response time?

Trying to decide between probably the Asus VH222H and Iiyama ProLite PLE2209HDS-B.

The Iiyama is only a bit more expensive so have any corners been cut to get the better response time for only a few more quid?

Maybe its better to be safe than sorry.

tbh i cant tell the difference between 16ms and 8ms personally. Either should be fine I would think.
