Responses to insulting e-mails (work)

Anyone else that works in an environment where you're exposed to the outside world and its users should be familiar with receiving the odd snotty/just plain insulting e-mails.

Company permitting, do you ever do anything about it? I normally respond in a professional manner, although sometimes I can't help but let some comedy slip through..

My company ran this news piece a while ago:

Report to gmail that he's using his account to send malicious emails, with a bit of luck they'll close it.

Haha i'm not in a spiteful mood today :p I just think its funny, especially with the way the internet is nowadays.

I searched his e-mail address on google which came up with a load of forum postings, Xbox live account etc..
