Hi Guys

I want to build a responsive design using some nice photos. I will put photos across in rows with no gaps between them. I just wondered, how many photos in a row do you think looks best?

1?
2?
3?
4?

What do you prefer?

Thanks

Depends if you're going for a capped max-width approach or fluid.

If max-width and assuming something like a 960 or 1140 px cap, then 3 per row should work out well. Collapsing to 1 (or perhaps 2) per row for mobile sizes.

If fluid, 3 per row will be fine at smaller screen / browser window sizes, but you'll need to think about increasing the number per row for HD, WQHD and 4k. Again collapsing to 1 (or perhaps 2) per row for mobile sizes.

Depends a bit but I prefer a fluid design that can scale between 4 and 5 with small gaps between images (a lot of the time I would be using 4 but sometimes make my browser wider and/or move to my 21:9 monitor).
