Rest XP OEM Theme

Hi,

My laptop has OEM XP on it from Acer, but they've altered the all the default settings and so the text size is really quite large - i've tried setting it manually, setting the registry, overwriting the theme files from another machine which was correct.

Is there a way to reset this to proper windows defaults?

Hi,
Sounds like you've tried to switch themes in desktop properties. I don't suppose ACER have left a nice little proggy in your startup which switches it back to their default ?

Is the DPI set to 96?

try installing the official Zune theme. Looks quite nice with a shiny vista-esque black theme with a hint of orange.
