Since getting my new system, I've had a few problems with restart and sleep from within vista. When I click either of these options, my PC does all the usual stuff but will not resume after (Won't POST after restart, won't wake from sleep).

Now I'm pretty sure that the sleep problem is some device driver not initialising as I can hear the fans in my PC getting loud and quiet as it tries to reload everything but no matter how long I wait, nothing.

Any ideas?

I doubt it's a PSU issue as when I was on XP, it would sleep and wake up perfectly fine although that was on a completly different set of hardware.

what ram do you have?
what voltage is the ram set at?

my OCZ is rated 2.1-2.2 but my board default is 1.8, so i have to up by 0.4 to get sleep mode working properly

Hmm that's a good suggestion. It's some Crucial Ballistix stuff that I haven't even touched voltage wise. CPU-Z reports it running at 1.8V which I assume is my board's default.

Another thing, the little LED display on my motherboard that shows where it is within the boot process displays FF when waking up from sleep (POST completed and the BIOS has done everything it wants to). This suggests to me that it's a driver problem somewhere along the line?

Well I can't link the exact part as I bought it direct from their website but if you google 'BL25664AA80A', you'll get the module.

According to that, it runs at 2.0V. I presume this means I should set that in my BIOS and see if that fixes it?
