Getting on toward spring now so when does everyone start tidying up and prettying up the garden post winter?

I'm thinking of giving it a go in the next few weeks but I'm putting it off at the moment in favour of trying to sneak some more lie ins :p

I tend to enjoy it, especially the back garden but the front is a nightmare with the weeds coming through from next door and the evil neighbourhood cats who I will soon smite!

I'm tending more toward roses and evergreens these days then bedding plants, plus Lavender, love my lavender :p

Live in a flat so don't have a garden myself, however I've spent the past 5 days helping out the parents.

Tree surgeon has been in for 4 days, cut down 3 trees, taken about 10ft off 8 conifers, and removed 30ft off two pine trees. We've got 150ft of hedgerow to plant, so need to crack on with that next. However ive been too busy in the wood burning all the conifer branches, and poking things with sticks :p

Don't do what my friend did when helping his parents, set fire to his leg burning the petrol and ending up in IC for ages due to a huge burn wound on his leg and then that getting infected

Yeah, I'm looking for a lavendar too, great for bees!

My front garden is quite tidy, have a driveway and a patch of grass with a small tree in. Just requires mowing every couple of weeks then that's it. I'm going to go to much greater efforts with my back garden (no pun intended) as that is where we spend most of our time.

I'll drop a picture when mine is tidied up, got loads of lavender it smells fantastic and looks great too especially when it fully flowers.
