Restarts over and over again ?

Hi

I have just got a new ASUS MB (M4A77D) I am trying to upgrade from an advent T9317 i am only useing the hard drive and DVD drive for the new setup

The problem is when i start up the pc restarts before windows XP is loaded and then goes to the start up options screen (last known config,safe mode ect.) i had this problem before and overclockers told me i need to format the HD and do a clean install which seemed to work ok for a couple of weeks
Now i cant even get in to safe mode. please help me? it just restarts over and over again

This could be one of several things - Your install may of come corrupted, you could try and do a repair install with the Windows disc.
Or could be a faulty memory module, I had a similar problem last year with my new build. Download mem test and this will create a bootable disc.
