Restaurant booking service or php form(for website)?

Can anyone recommend a decent restaurant booking service that would be suitable for a small restaurant website?

Ive had a look at livebookings which is what some of the bigger restaurants use, but it would be too expensive for a smaller restaurant I think.

Or am i better off just going for a php contact/reservation form which redirects to email address that is monitored.

I did a website for a small restaurant so I just implemented a contact page in php which so far does the job. Most people still call in to book anyway.

I think php forms are prob the best way forward, I don't want to overcomplicate it, and like you say people can always ring to book.
