I am looking for recommendations for some good restaurants in Bristol. Not too fussed what as open to new cuisines. I will be there for 2 nights so maybe a nice bar as well

Kathmandu is nice and a bit different from your normal curry

It's supposed to be pretty good, am off there myself next week. Downside is that you can't book.

I was unimpressed with Kathmandu. I thought it was overpriced and mediocre.

I was recently taken to Pieminster.. That's where a stag do should go!

We went to this International restaurant in City center a few weekends back but for the life of me i can't remember it's name. Nothing special but decent food, plenty of beer and reasonable..Ideal for stag weekend.

edit 5 minute Google i can't find it. oh well.

Went to Grillstock last week and they were out of burgers

I will highly recommend the Souk Kitchen and Zazu's Kitchen which are both on North Street in Southville.
