Hey :)

I'm meeting up with somebody in Southport on Friday, and not knowing the area whatsoever I am trying to find a good reccomendation to book a table at!

I generally prefer to stick with a traditional english gourmet pub type affair, something neutral and inoffensive but lets see what's out there.

I don't want somewhere cheap cheap but my budget isnt huge either, somewhere nice with a bit of class but doesnt set the stall too high lol. It's a first date so somewhere a bit more intimate than loud would be nice.

Cheers guys :)

Tom.

Claudes is a nice little place to eat. Just been there today for lunch but not head an evening meal there. Menus are on the website. It's a dinky little place but nice and cosy.

Churchtown is only a mile or two out of Southport town centre. Park anywhere on Cambridge Road (the second part of Cambridge Road after the traffic lights).
